Justice Kilbride has participated in 229 criminal constitutional law cases since taking his seat.  He has supported defendants in 90 cases and has voted against defendants in 139 cases.  Between 2001 and 2009, Justice Kilbride supported defendants in 61 cases and voted against defendants in 76 cases.  Since 2010, he has supported defendants in 29 cases and prosecution in 63 cases.

Justice Kilbride has participated in 148 criminal constitutional law cases won by the defendants below.  He has voted to affirm 60 of those decisions since taking his seat and has voted to reverse 88 times.  From 2001 to 2009, he voted to affirm in 46 cases and voted to reverse 48 times.  From 2010 to 2019, he voted to affirm 14 times and voted to reverse 40 times.

 

Justice Kilbride has participated in 81 criminal constitutional law cases lost by the defendants at the Appellate Court.  He has voted to reverse in 30 cases and voted to affirm 51 times.  From 2001 to 2009, he voted to reverse 15 times and to affirm in 28 cases.  From 2010 to 2019, he voted to reverse 15 times and to affirm in 23 cases.
