Between 2010 and 2019, defendants in civil constitutional law cases at the Supreme Court split results almost evenly, winning 21 cases while losing 19. Between 2010 and 2014, defendants won 13 of 16 games. Since 2015, defendants have won eight while losing 16.
The Court reviewed 18 civil constitutional law cases won by the defendant at the Appellate Court. Defendants won 10 of those cases, losing 8. Defendants were 9-0 from 2010-2014, but successfully defended only one Appellate Court win out of nine since that time.
The Court has decided 22 civil constitutional law cases lost by the defendant below. Defendants have won 11 of those cases and lost 11. Defendants won six of ten between 2010 and 2015, but only five of twelve since that time.
