We found that torts, civil procedure and government/administrative cases led the Court’s docket, although the Court also showed a significant interest in constitutional and workers’ compensation law. We now turn to the second five years of our study period.

Between 2005 and 2009, we see a sudden spike in constitutional and employment cases on the Court’s civil docket. Civil procedure issues and cases involving governmental actors were down:
